Preparation & Dieta

If you are planning to attend an ayahuasca retreat, it is essential to prepare yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally to make the most of your experience.

This ayahuasca retreat preparation guide outlines preparatory practices abstinences that will get mind, body, and spirit ready for your transformative ayahuasca ceremony.

Set your intentions for the ceremony

What do you want to heal or learn? What do you want to achieve from the experience? Clarifying your intentions can help you to focus your mind during the ceremony.

Practice meditation, yoga, or other mindfulness techniques

This will help prepare yourself mentally and emotionally for your ayahuasca retreat. It can also help you to manage any anxiety or fears that may arise during the ceremony. Also, try to limit your exposure to TV and digital devices.

Follow a healthy diet

This helps to purify your body and reduce any potential adverse effects of the plant medicine. A full list of what to avoid and at what times is below.
